In the third episode of the “Soybean Challenges” segment, we follow producers, researchers and consultants from the municipalities of Ponta Grossa and Reserva in Paraná. The theme of this meeting was the importance of the first application for disease management and control. Disease management can be a challenge for farmers, due to the development and mutation capacity of pathogens, which begin to show some resistance or tolerance to products used in phytosanitary management. In this sense, management strategies are increasingly complex and customized according to the characteristics of each region. One strategy that has been used is the anticipation of the introduction of fungicides, carried out together with the application of the herbicide.
