NOT JUST SEA Calabria is not just sea, but it is a truly rich and diverse ecosystem. We spent a couple of days in Sila, at about 1800mt among parks, trees and wild animals. We met the GIANTS, 400 year old trees, more than 40 MT tall and 2 in diameter, in the Sila Giants National Park, where we regenerated with a nice walk observing these great masters (PS. No stroller). We slept at Lake Cecita, more precisely next to the San Lorenzo Church, a little place so particular and romantic that it reminded me of the Australian outback ???? Waking up with 10°C, moos and sun on the reflections of the lake water we calmly headed to the SILA NATIONAL PARK. A wonderful park, huge, and totally free (except to visit a museum if you wish), we chose one of the marked paths in the woods (3km), it was still challenging and tiring for the children but it was worth it!! We had a quick snack in the village of Camigliatello, where the mountain style immediately brought Trentino to mind.
