Discover the west side of Jericoacoara, an unmissable trip on the coast of Ceará! Jericoacoara is synonymous with paradise! Beautiful beaches with warm, clear waters, exotic landscapes, peace and a sunset that is hard to find anywhere else in the world. But a trip to this incredible place is not just about the sea and tranquility. There are some tours in Jeri that are worth doing to enjoy everything the region has to offer, including natural beauty, delicious food and lots of adventure! We took the West Coast tour in Jericoacoara and we can say: it is unmissable! In Jericoacoara, there are two essential tours. The tours are divided between the beaches and lagoons of the East Coast and the West Coast. Tours in Jericoacoara – West Coast Tatajuba Dunes and Lagoons, Mangue Seco, Rio Guriú and Lagoa Grande. Crossing the Guriú River The moment you cross the Guriú River and arrive in Camocim, on the other side of the river, is already an attraction in itself. The car boards a small boat and is taken to the other side. This is where the local community has built restaurants and swings surrounded by cinematic vegetation. Tatajuba Dunes The car descends through some of the highest dunes, with a dose of excitement, until it reaches the paradisiacal Lagoa da Tatajuba (or Lagoa Grande). In the past, the stop for this tour was at Lagoa da Torta, which lost its volume of water and was replaced by Lagoa Grande. But the truth is that the dunes move and the landscapes and lagoons change.
