Cuyutlán Lagoon, the largest in all of Colima. Cuyutlán Lagoon is the largest in the state of Colima and one of the most important on the Mexican Pacific coast. Its more than 7 thousand hectares form a biological corridor where crocodiles swim among the mangroves, which are home to hundreds of species of birds, both migratory and resident. It borders the Manzanillo Bay to the north and the Armería River to the south. It is 37 km long and is separated from the coast by a volcanic sand bar that is only 6 km wide. Surfers and sea turtles come to the beautiful beaches of Cuyutlán, which are preserved in the Palo Verde Estuary. Thanks to the lagoon, Colima has one of the best gastronomic options in Mexico. Shrimp grow in its waters and the famous Cuyutlán salt is produced. / jorgeeduardodeleon Join this channel to access its benefits: / @jorgedeleonmx
