Disaster of the Century 4:17 At 4:17 in the morning on February 6th, Turkey woke up to an unforgettable day. While some of us opened our eyes to painfully ringing phones, some to a shocking tremor and noise, more than 50 thousand of us closed their eyes never to open again... Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adıyaman, Adana, Gaziantep, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Malatya, Osmaniye and Elazığ... Maybe the earthquake physically hit 11 of our cities, but spiritually 85 million people were experiencing a great collapse. Here is our documentary Disaster of the Century 4:17, in which we take you to what happened on the morning of February 6th and the following... I reached Adana the moment I first heard about the earthquake. Then, I visited every single disaster area and stayed in the region for 27 days straight. Unfortunately, there are no words to describe what I experienced and saw. In this process, my friend, comrade, and assistant Mustafa and I wanted to share with you what was reflected in our frame, and this documentary content emerged.
