???? In this video: Video, picture and song of the dipper Name: Dipper Family: Dippers Characteristic features/appearance: Round, short-tailed, compact shape. The upper side of the plumage is brown-gray, the head and underside are a reddish dark brown. The throat, neck and chest are white to cream-colored. The light bib is bordered towards the belly by a rust-brown, more rarely orange-brown stripe. Their constant curtsy is striking. Size: 18-20 cm Weight: 53-76 g Age: Up to 10 years Females: Males and females do not differ in appearance. The male is slightly heavier and has slightly longer wings.
