If so, why did he need to perform ablution even though he was a mahram? Shall we do the same? Answer: Let's correct a mistake first, brothers. When fiqh issues are discussed in Turkey, an example is usually given: One day, the Messenger of Allah's forehead was bleeding, our mother Aisha went and wiped the blood from the Messenger of Allah's forehead, and then the Prophet performed ablution. The Shafi'is said that the reason the Prophet performed ablution was because our mother Aisha touched him. The Hanafis also said that the reason the Prophet performed ablution was because blood came out of the Prophet. There is no such case, nor have the Shafiis and Hanafis discussed such an issue. At least, I do not know the Hanafis very well. But since I am a Shafi and have studied Shafi fiqh, I at least know that there is no such analysis in Shafi fiqh. So what is the essence of this issue? The essence of the issue is this: Does ablution break when bleeding occurs? Does blood break ablution? Does ablution break when touching a woman? Does touching a woman break ablution? These two issues are among the issues that have been disputed among the scholars. Can ablution be performed when bleeding occurs? Does blood break ablution? Blood is not one of the elements that break ablution. Why? Because the breaking of ablution is not something that can be determined by reason. In order for ablution to be broken, we must definitely have received evidence from the Prophet (pbuh). There is no evidence from our Prophet that blood breaks ablution, and there is evidence in the life of our Prophet to the contrary: 1. When the Messenger of Allah gave them the duty of keeping watch, one of them said he would pray. The other one was sleeping. One of the polytheists whose wife had been taken as a concubine came to take revenge and shot an arrow at the Companion who was praying. Then another one shot an arrow and wounded him. When he finally stood up and thought, his friend noticed him and said: -'You should have woken me up' -'By Allah, I was reciting such a Surah that I did not want to interrupt it'. The first man did not break his prayer because of the flow of blood. The second man did not say, 'Brother, blood was flowing from you, and it was flowing in streams, how were you praying?' They narrated this in the history of Islam, no hadith scholar said that blood broke ablution, how could this be? So, blood does not break ablution in the presence of the predecessors. According to Imam Bukhari, while Omar (ra) was leading the prayer, he was stabbed by Abu Lu'lu, a Zoroastrian. His wound was gushing blood. Omar (ra) did not stop praying as soon as he was stabbed. When he could not stand, he changed his mind due to loss of blood, so he put someone in his place and abandoned the prayer. In addition, in another narration from Hasan al-Basri: Muslims have continued to pray in their blood for centuries. All of these narrations are evidence that blood does not invalidate ablution and that blood is not impure. Does touching a woman invalidate ablution? Does touching a woman invalidate ablution? No. Touching a woman does not invalidate ablution. Because in a hadith narrated by the Sunan Companions, our mother Aisha (ra) says: "The Prophet (pbuh) would kiss some of his wives and then go out and pray without performing ablution." In fact, when our mother Aisha narrated this, one of those who heard the hadith said: 'By Allah, the one he kissed was none other than you.' Our mother Aisha also laughed. In another hadith mentioned in Bukhari and Muslim: Our mother Aisha says: 'The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to pray in our house. I used to lie down in his direction of the qibla. There were no lamps in the houses that day. When the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) would go to prostration, he would touch my feet. I would gather my feet. Then when he stood up, I would stretch my feet out again.' The expression touching in the hadith generally refers to touching bare feet with bare hands. All of these show that: A woman touching a man does not break ablution. However, if it is touched with lust and the fluid of pleasure, which we call mazi, comes out, the person's ablution is broken not because the woman was touched but because mazi came out. However, a person's ablution is not broken just because a woman was touched.
