--------------------- This video is the life story of the last head of SAVAK organization; Lt. Gen. Naser Moghadam, a high-ranking military man who joined SAVAK in his middle age and during his ten-year tenure as head of the Third Directorate of SAVAK, which was responsible for ensuring the internal security of the country, showed many initiatives to suppress the opposition and make SAVAK more frightening. He then returned to the army, but in the last year of his life, when the Shah intended to quell popular protests by dismissing Lt. Gen. Nasiri from the head of SAVAK, he was appointed as the head of SAVAK by the order of the Shah and the opinion of the Americans. During this 8-month period, he tried to meet with the leaders of the revolution with the Shah's information and find a solution to get out of the crisis. But after the Shah's departure from the country, he tried his best to warn the army against the coup and finally persuade the army commanders to declare neutrality on 22 Bahman. During the last months of the Shah's regime, Lieutenant General Moghadam used to go to Morteza Motahari's house, meet and consult with Ayatollah Montazeri and Mehdi Bazargan, he provided security for Ayatollah Khomeini's return to Mehrabad Airport, and it seemed that he was in contact with government officials.
