《Diamond Sutra》 (金剛般若波羅蜜經 Diamond Sūtra) This is the primary sutra of the Jogye Order, the representative Buddhist sect in Korea. It is also called 'Geumgang-gyeong' or 'Geumgang-banya-gyeong' for short. It is a representative sutra of Mahayana Buddhism that deeply deals with the idea of emptiness as preached by Sakyamuni. It was translated into Chinese characters by Kumarajiva (鳩摩羅什) of China in 402. It has been translated many times since then, but the current popular Diamond Sutra is the Kumarajiva version. Not only the Jogye Order, but many Seon sects consider the Diamond Sutra as their primary sutra.
