Straight from the traditional Café and Restaurant Lamas, in Flamengo, throughout this video I try to devour and tell the story of the two most classic steaks in Rio de Janeiro, the Filé à Francesa and the Filé à Oswaldo Aranha. In 2024 (when I published this video), Café Lamas completed 150 years of existence! It is one of the oldest restaurants in Brazil, founded in 1874 still in Largo do Machado. In 1976 it moved to its current address on Rua Marquês de Abrantes, in the Flamengo neighborhood. Follow this journey and if you enjoy it, be sure to like and subscribe to the channel! Criticism, comments and suggestions are always welcome as long as they are made in a polite and courteous manner.
