About :

Nadezhda Lvovna Zueva, the rector of the Humanities and Economics University, contacted the detective agency. Professor Krotovsky, a respected teacher and the pride of the university, is suspected of extorting bribes. An unknown extortionist calls students who failed the exam on behalf of the professor and demands money for a successful retake. It is known that the professor needs money; he recently contacted the rector for a large loan. The detective meets with the extortionist's victim and hands him a telephone capable of identifying the caller's hidden number. Detectives set up video surveillance in the professor's department and in the auditorium where he administers exams. The detective's assistant goes to the university disguised as a journalist. He meets the professor's assistant, who has access to information about students who failed the exam and the questions they "failed." This is the information the blackmailer provided to his victim to prove his knowledge. Meanwhile, the student who failed the exam and reported the fact of extortion receives a call from the extortionist who sets up a meeting. His identity is established by the phone number. The detectives manage to catch the extortionist red-handed. The criminal turns out to be the assistant's boyfriend. It turns out that the professor's assistant developed a scheme for obtaining money from students, and the young man received money from the students. The detectives managed to prove the professor's innocence and expose the criminals, simultaneously opening the rector's eyes to the extortion that was flourishing at her university.
