The detective's assistants notice 16-year-old Zhenya Shulgin trying to break into the traffic police garages. Zhenya believes that it is his duty to save his father. To do this, Zhenya must find the real killer - the traffic police inspector. The detective finds out that Zhenya himself is involved in a terrible crime. But the chief manages to find the real criminal. And prove the innocence of a man who has already agreed that he will never be released.
