The detectives are approached by bartender Valery Azimov. After a party at the cafe where he works, an expensive, collectible, Damascus dagger disappeared. Valery is sure that it was stolen by DJ "Hurricane" - Anton Kuznetsov, who played at the party. The detectives learn that there was a quarrel between Valery and Anton, because Valery caught his girlfriend - waitress Lisa in the back room with Anton, where they were having sex. The same scene was observed by Anton's girlfriend - Sonya, with whom he had been dating for a long time. Sonya and Anton had a fight, and she left the cafe. The detectives find out that the night after the party, Anton was supposed to leave for Moscow with the famous producer Fyodor Kovalev. But for some reason he did not show up for the plane. The detectives go to Anton's home and find Anton's corpse in the hallway. A knife, stolen from Valery, is sticking out of his chest. Valery asks the detectives to find Anton's killer so that he is not accused of murder. The detectives learn that Anton had many girlfriends, and Sonya was jealous of him all the time. In addition, it becomes known that on the night of Anton's murder, Sonya did not spend the night at home. It turns out that she spent the night with Anton's classmate and old friend, Ivan, who lives with Anton on the same landing. In Ivan's apartment, the detectives see music tracks on a laptop. He assures that in fact he wrote all of the music. Anton only played them. The detectives learn that Sonya took the dagger from the cafe, came to Anton to commit suicide in front of him. But Anton was not home, and she spent the night at Ivan's. In the morning Sonya left, but forgot the dagger.
