Hey! Four years ago, the Postwar channel was created! When I recorded the first episode, I didn't expect my films to gain a large audience. I wanted to reach at least one person and tell them about what I'm most passionate about: history after 1945. The premiere episode concerned the losses in Europe after World War II. At that time, I didn't spend much time on Poland. I focused on foreign countries. In connection with the anniversary of the founding of my channel, I decided to expand this thread to our homeland. Poland was massively devastated after the war. Experts estimate the losses caused by the war cataclysm at over 700 billion dollars (converted into modern money). In the latest episode of the Postwar series, I try to show the scale of destruction in many different aspects. How many companies ceased to exist? What happened to the economy, culture and, above all, society? What did Poland look like in 1945? You will find out in my latest film. Most of the films used in the material come from the public domain, AAN, Bundesarchiv and x.com. I would like to thank you very much for all the words of support, likes, comments, purchases of my books and funds donated via Patronite. It is thanks to you that I can continue to create more films telling the story of the world after 1945. You are great! Piotrek
