The models are based on the lighter and more flexible cassotto models that we developed already in the early 80s and have been improved & refined over the years to today's top models with keyboards of the absolute highest class and exclusive handmade special parts. Both of these models are tuned 16+8+8, i.e. with a deep bassoon part and two violin parts. However, they are structured differently, "Safir Cassotto" has 2 choirs in the cassotto chamber (16+8) and 1 choir outside, which makes it a more cassotto-emphasized model, while "Cassotto Special" has 1 choir in the cassotto chamber (16) and 2 runs outside with a little tremolo to get a little musette-like sound.
