Video presentation of the official channel of composer Elomar Figueira Mello. Another opportunity to open dialogues about the artistic universe of this composer and also writer, novelist, essayist and poet. Always a genuinely Brazilian work, which stands out for defending our culture, free from any stain or elements foreign to our origins. An urban architect by training (UFBA/1964), at 82 years of age (12/21/1937), Elomar has a body of work of erudite character with symphonic and operatic writing. Best known for his songbook, much of his operatic-orchestral work has never been published. Since the 1980s, Elomar has been performing on stages in Brazil and abroad, “Ao Menestrel”, with his guitar and his baritone voice, celebrating the figure, the deeds and songs of the old minstrels, taking the audience on a short journey through the pages of his songbook, singing his songs and praises in his peculiar trovar. This channel aims to publish content related to Elomar's artistic creation, his music, texts, events in his universe, modus operandi and modus vivendi. To support the promotion and propagation of sertanic art, based on the work of this Brazilian composer, we invite you to subscribe and share this channel and share.
