In connection with the currently debated increase in parental allowance, the question of how – and whether – the Czech state supports parents sufficiently has been reopened. Especially mothers, because childcare in the Czech Republic is still primarily a women's issue. Why are there still few places in kindergartens? Why do employers offer few part-time jobs? Guests: Filip Pertold, economist at CERGE-EI, Šárka Homfray, lawyer at the Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions, and Pavlína Kalousová, chairwoman of the organization Business for Society. The debate was moderated by Silvie Lauder.
