The convicted child murderer Klaus-Dieter H. had almost served his sentence in 2010. But then he killed his girlfriend in the visitors' room at Remscheid Prison. He planned the crime - bringing two knives and a wheel wrench with him into the visitors' room. After visiting hours had expired, the guards found the dead Martina G. Klaus-Dieter H. was also seriously injured. In the visitors' room, Klaus-Dieter H. is said to have first beaten his girlfriend Martina G. unconscious, so she had no chance to press the emergency button in the visitors' room. The perpetrator then strangled Martina G. until she died. The 50-year-old then tried to take his own life - but he survived. In the film, our host Sarah asks how this crime could have happened in the first place and why the prisoner was not better controlled before he went into the visitors' room. She spoke to the current head of #JVARemscheid about this. Sarah wants to know from the former prisoner and current coach for violence prevention, Maximilian Pollux, how visits in prisons usually go and how important these are for the inmates and their resocialization. ----- Table of contents: 0:00 Intro 0:33 The perpetrator 1:35 Visits in prison 4:26 The love cell 5:14 The victim Martina G. 5:56 The day of the crime 7:18 The motive 7:44 Security gaps? 8:23 The security concept of the Remscheid prison 11:10 Errors in the control of the prison 12:21 The importance of visits 14:28 What happened to Klaus-Dieter H. 16:15 Conclusion ___ If you are interested in other criminal cases from NRW, follow our channel ➡️https://www.youtube.com/@Lokalzeit-Mo...
