‼️Content note: This film is about violence against children.‼️ A daycare center in Viersen: Three-year-old Greta suddenly doesn't wake up after her afternoon nap. The kindergarten teacher Sandra M., who was alone with Greta in the group at the time, alerts her colleague. The emergency doctor is able to resuscitate Greta, but she dies two weeks later in hospital. The doctors cannot explain the three-year-old's death. It is only tiny red dots in Greta's eyes that prompt the police to start investigating. They quickly come across a series of inexplicable emergencies in various daycare centers in the region. The only connection: the kindergarten teacher Sandra M. worked in all of the facilities. Our host Alina wanted to know what happened at the daycare center in Viersen and whether this crime could have been prevented. To do this, she speaks to Rainer Becker from the German Children's Aid about the case. This also provides insights into the extent to which the Greta case has led to changes in the protection of children. ____ Contents: 0:00 Intro 0:51 The day of the crime 1:50 Signs of murder 2:40 The kindergarten teacher Sandra M. 3:56 Incidents in various daycare centers 8:32 Viersen daycare center 9:10 Greta's murder 10:47 Could it have been prevented? 11:35 How can children be protected? 14:10 The trial 17:51 Conclusion _____ Here you can find information and further training offers from the German Children's Aid on the subject of child protection➡️ https://www.kindervertretung.de/de/pr...
