Alessandro Barbero, historian, academic, writer and great popularizer, is one of the most translated contemporary Italian authors and a leading figure in Italian culture at an international level. During the meeting, organized by the IMI High School and the Italian Cultural Institute of Istanbul, Barbero explored the topic of Dante Alighieri, the famous Italian poet of the Middle Ages. Having been published in 2020, his essay on Dante, translated into Turkish, has achieved great success even during the pandemic.
