WE COULDN'T SEE THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING IN A KOMBI MOTORHOME! In this video we show the city of Urubici in the Santa Catarina mountains, a beautiful city that enchants with its natural beauty and cold, because in this city it can snow in the winter, one of the only places in Brazil where it snows! We started the day washing our dirty clothes, we stopped at a self-service laundromat, where you can use the washing machine and dryer for a fee. With the clothes washed, we started the tour of the city in a Kombi, we stopped at the administrative office of ICMbio, which controls all access to the Morro da Pedra Furada park, a beautiful viewpoint where you can see the entire landscape and nature. We took advantage of the beautiful sun to visit the Veil of Bride waterfall park and its 3 beautiful waterfalls. The Véu de Noiva waterfall has a basalt rock formation with a characteristic slope that causes the water to descend approximately 62 meters to its base, forming, as it falls, an image similar to a white veil, hence its name, and at its base, a small and beautiful lagoon of cold and crystal clear water. It is surrounded by native vegetation and has abundant fauna. To access it, a beautiful walk of approximately 150 meters, visitors are welcomed by the singing of birds. After the visit, we asked for permission to park the Kombi Mel and have a quick snack; we fried an egg that had 2 yolks!! We showed our friends this curiosity, had our snack and returned to the main road to visit the viewpoint of Morro da Igreja / Morro da Pedra Furada. Pedra Furada is a basalt rock with a crack approximately 13 meters high by 6 meters wide, located in the São Joaquim National Park, on the slope of the Escarpas da Serra Geral, in the interior of the municipality of Orleans, close to the border with Urubici - Santa Catarina. Due to the heavy fog in the area, we couldn't see anything. Everything was white. We weren't lucky that the day was clear, because you can only stay there for 15 minutes. Since it's an environmental area and monitored by the Brazilian Air Force, there's a monitoring base and weather radar. After our visit time limit, we had to go down the lookout and return to the city, where we went to the supermarket to buy some items that were missing from our house in the Kombi Mel. We met two friends who follow us here on YouTube, Mr. Clério and his son Vitor. We talked a lot and they were able to see the inside of the Kombi Mel in person. It was very rewarding to meet them because they are such big-hearted people! After a day of visiting the city, we found a gas station with the facilities to take a shower and sleep peacefully so we could continue our trip in the Kombi Mel the next day. After 4 years of hard work and planning, we renovated the entire Kombi Mel, built the handmade Motorhome in the Kombi Mel and finally moved into the Kombi that will be our new home on a great adventure! We are going to live and travel in the Kombi for a long time, taking a great trip! Our dream is coming true and now we will be able to enjoy the Kombi on the roads, getting to know new places, making new friends and getting to know new cultures!
