Danger on the Road Danger on the Road was a Dutch television program about road traffic and traffic violations. It was broadcast around 2000 by RTL 4 and presented by Allard Kalff. Program structure The program featured a number of motorists who had been nominated for the program by family, friends or acquaintances. People often thought that the motorist in question had a terrible driving style, while the motorist himself or herself had a different opinion. Cameras were placed in the car, after which the motorist went out on the road and his or her actions behind the wheel were recorded. Often there were people (usually men, sometimes women) among them who used the public road as a race track or who made a mess of it in some other way. After the antics, Matthieu Stam from the ANWB Test and Training Centre in Lelystad came to visit to discuss the behaviour of the drivers and to give advice. To conclude a season, Allard Kalff himself got behind the wheel after being drunk, in order to observe his behaviour during a ride on a circuit. In that episode, we also rode along with an ambulance driver.
