The final stage of my Alpine bike tour takes me through green Styria, the second largest state in Austria. I cycle over vineyards, through the magnificent city of Graz and continue on the Mur cycle path along beautiful nature - a bikepacking discovery tour through the Alpine country. On the last two stages, I cycle along the spectacular Salzkammergut cycle path to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt, accompanied by a friend. My waterproof equipment was put to the test again, as sun and rain alternated constantly. But the rainier it was, the greener the landscape! Continuing to cycle on a picturesque route through Upper Austria, I reached my final destination, Salzburg, after a total of 15 days of cycling.
