The route leads from the cemetery in Modra, past the Modra pond, the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, through the vineyards to the railway station in Šenkvice. Two rest stops are built along the bike path. In addition to the beautiful views of the Lesser Carpathians, you can also stop at the place where Ľudovít Štúr was shot. The length of the cycle route is 4.9 kilometers. Although the primary purpose of building the cycle path was to connect Modra with the railway, it will also delight recreational cyclists. It is the gateway to the Lesser Carpathians and offers a large selection of cycling routes for leisure and recreation. At the transport terminal in Šenkvice, there is a covered stand for storing and parking bicycles. The rest areas are equipped with service bicycle racks, benches, trash cans, and bicycle racks. One rest area has a wooden gazebo. To build a cycle transport connection between the city of Modra and the modern transport terminal in Šenkvice, the Association of Municipalities of Modra - Šenkvice received a grant from the Integrated Regional Operational Program (IROP). The contract price for the work was EUR 627,058.11 (without VAT) and the contractor was PORR, sro. Video: Monika Kováčová / BSK https://bratislavskykraj.sk/
