Hello dear North Sea friends and fans of wfirll. This year there was again a cutter parade in Greetsiel. 20 cutters were anchored in the harbor, 15 of which took part in the parade. There was a bit of confusion about the order in which passengers were to be picked up, as only three cutters were allowed to pick up guests at the pier at the same time. These cutters then set off straight away. So the cutter parade was not actually a convoy of ships, but individual trips. This was not so nice for the filmmaker or the spectators, as it took a good two hours from the first to the last cutter, but was accompanied by loud chants. I then made my film of this. As the first cutters had not returned after four hours, we went home. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello dear friends of the North Sea and fans of wfirll. This year there was again a cutter parade in Greetsiel. 20 cutters were anchored in the harbor, 15 of which took part in the parade. There was probably a bit of confusion about the order in which passengers were picked up, because only 3 cutters were allowed to pick up guests at the mole at the same time. These cutters then also immediately left for the journey. So the cutter parade was actually not a convoy of ships but individual trips. For the filmmaker and for the spectators this was not so nice because from the first to the last cutter it took a good 2 hours, but accompanied by loud chanty choirs. I then made my film out of it. Since the first cutters still hadn't returned after 4 hours, we drove back home.
