Put the onions in the mixing bowl, chop for 5 seconds/speed 5 and push down with the spatula. Add the butter and sugar and sauté for 3 minutes/120°C/speed 1. Add the curry and sauté for 2 minutes/120°C/speed 2. Add the strained tomatoes, ketchup, tomato paste, salt, sambal oelek, spice paste, vinegar and chopped cucumber, bring to the boil for 13 minutes/100°C/reverse/speed 3, season to taste, pour hot into 2 clean bottles (450-500g each) and seal immediately. Serve the sauce with currywurst. One jar (450-500g) is enough for around 6 currywursts. This curry sauce is also suitable as a barbecue and fondue sauce. Enjoy your meal!
