The film tells the story of one of the ancient most warlike and unruly white tribes - the Kuras, who later formed the Latvian nation. Using staged historical scenes, interviews with well-known historians, 3D computer animation reconstructions and maps, the film tells the story of this brave and warlike tribe of our ancestors in an exciting and dynamic way. The Kursi not only made their Scandinavian neighbors shudder, but were also one of the last pagans in Europe and preserved their rituals until the 19th century. Film directors – Raitis, Lauris Ābeles, screenplay – Toms Ķencis, cinematographers – Mārcis Ābele and Jānis Indriks, visual solution of the film – Aigars Gercāns, original music – Kaspars Bārbals and studio “Lauska”. The producer of the film is Zane Sietniece and "Tritone studio". It was made with the support of the Latvian State Culture Capital Fund, Tritone Studio, BB Rental, Mute Studija and Order Order. Mārtiņš RuĮens and the organizations "Ugunszīme", "Senatne", "Rodenpoys", "Exercitus Rigensis", "Grobiņa Cursian Viking Settlement" and "Uldeven's Wooden Castle" helped in the historical reconstructions. The sound studio "Lauska" has released the film's music album, which can be listened to electronically on iTunes and Spotify.
