Don't stretch yourself further than your blanket, says a popular saying. It's easy to say, but hard to put into practice and, sooner or later, the reality will surface... The protagonists of the story, Ignac Solmay, landowner, and his wife, Szidonia, undoubtedly love their children and wish them happiness ... but at what cost? The woman likes to have fun and wear the most expensive clothes, and for her own sons she looks for the most expensive parties... this while the husband, thin as an angel, pays for the broken pots... and tries to put the garbage under pres. The whole family, as is natural, ends up with a wooden hoe...that is, with financial bankruptcy. Gergely Csiky's comedy is a true story about selfishness, proving that love, when it does not have a well-built foundation, collapses like soap bubbles.
