Cruise will appear on the Russian market of intercity and tourist buses again. More precisely, two very similar buses called Cruise 11 and Cruise 12. Before Scania left the country, Cruise liners were produced at the Likinsky Bus Plant using imported chassis. The new Cruise is completely different from its predecessor, either externally or structurally. Now the long "tourist" looks like the Chinese Foton BJ 6122. But adapted to our conditions. In particular, heated fuel system and door drives have been added. At the Urbantrans exhibition, the vehicle was presented in the livery of Moscow Region transport, well known to passengers for the design of buses and electric trains. And it is no coincidence. The largest carrier in the capital region, Mostransavto, has just reported the acceptance of the first batch of 104 such vehicles ordered. It is clear that these buses can only be called domestic conditionally. But further, simultaneously with the preparation of the production of this liner, its localization will also deepen, which will first affect the body, and then the power unit. We are talking about the current "six" YaMZ-537 with a working volume of 7.7 liters. A six-speed manual gearbox of "celestial" origin is aggregated with the Yaroslavl diesel, but a 12-speed automated gearbox can also be installed upon request. The most interesting thing is that the Likinsky plant will resume production of only the 12-meter Cruise-12, and the production of the 11-meter Cruise-11, accommodating 45 passengers, is planned to be deployed at the Kurgan Bus Plant, whose emblem is already emblazoned on the prototype. By the way, KAVZ traditionally specialized in small and medium-sized cars, and the Likinsky plant has been overloaded with orders in recent years. The Cruise-11 is addressed with the same diesel, but with slightly less power - 310 hp. Both buses have fully air suspension and disc brakes on all wheels, the efficiency of which is increased by the use of a retarder. The basic configuration of both buses includes air conditioning, tinted double-glazed windows, a telematics system and an automatic tire pressure monitoring system. Multimedia screens are installed in the interior of the test buses. Nine video cameras are included in the video surveillance circuit. And the options include a cooler, a refrigerator, a dry closet and a rest area for a shift driver.
