iLPF is a strategy that seeks sustainable production by integrating agricultural, livestock and forestry activities in the same area, in intercropping, succession or rotational cultivation. The system seeks synergistic effects among its components, considering environmental suitability, the valorization of human beings and economic viability. With different arrangements, iLPF systems emerge as an alternative to recover pastures at a relatively low cost, amortized by the financial return of the agricultural phases, providing greater financial turnover to the rural property and staggered sales. The recovered pasture supports greater animal loads per hectare, due to the good quality of the forage resulting from better management of the area.
