If I could describe myself in a few words, I am the one who sets up the house and lights the grill for the gatherings. I am a total lover of the ritual that involves a good barbecue: chopped meat, meat and extended after-dinner conversation. However, I must confess that what I like most is to chat freely with loved ones, to give rise to healthy laughter and to make the other person feel comfortable at all times. In a few words: A good service of camaraderie. That is how I was taught to live. In this second season of my podcast I share conversations with people that I love, admire and/or that generate a lot of curiosity in me. In this episode I am joined by Guadalupe Gutierrez Ortiz, survivor of the Cromañón Massacre. On December 30, 2004, at the República de Cromañón nightclub, while the Callejeros band was playing, a flare set fire to a shade on the roof and unleashed the worst unnatural tragedy in the history of Argentina, leaving 194 dead and more than 1,400 injured. Guadi was there that night and came to tell me first-hand, almost 20 years later, everything that happened and how to continue living in the face of so much pain. Thank you, Guadi, for coming!
