We are at the penultimate stage and once again we visit the gorges, those of Imbros. Narrower and less gigantic than the Samaria gorges, but no less suggestive! After the walk we treat ourselves to a lunch of Greek cuisine at the refreshment point and end with pita, a sort of flat bread filled with goat cheese and seasoned with honey. At this point it is time to head towards the northern coast of Crete, to be precise to the city of Rethymno where we will stay for the last two nights. From the remote coastal villages here we find ourselves in a lively and chaotic center, where however the Cretan charm is not lost.
