There are countless tools that allow you to generate QR codes. This is what we call a static QR code: when we create it, we link it to a specific internet address that we cannot change… BUT THEN If we have printed and distributed this QR code on business cards, mugs… What happens if, once we have all this material, we want to change the address it points to? The code we had generated is no longer useful! Do we throw all the material in the trash? How can we do it? To solve this problem we can use dynamic QR codes. A dynamic QR code does not point forever to a specific address, but allows us to modify at any time the content to which we direct the user. In this way we can keep the same QR code that we have already distributed, and make it point to the information that interests us at any time. In this video we are going to create a dynamic QR code system using only free tools, such as Google sheets and GitHub pages. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To move past coding, jump to 'Let's try it out' ????
