Corrie ten Boom (1892-1983) was one of the best-known preachers in Europe and North America in the 1960s and 1970s. Her active support of many Jews during the German dictatorship and her internment in the Ravensbrück concentration camp shaped her biography. Nevertheless, it was important to her to preach about the power of forgiveness through Jesus Christ, especially in Germany. Arndt Schnepper paints a sensitive picture of the Dutch woman who was able to show many Germans the way to Jesus in the post-war period. Prof. Dr. Arndt Schnepper is a pastor and professor of practical theology at the Ewersbach Theological College.
