Cookit - a food processor from Bosch with an extremely large number of accessories - the real and, for me, better alternative to the Thermomix from Vorwerk https://janreichenbach.de/blog/cookit... Welcome! My name is Jan Reichenbach and I am 47 years young and I have a wonderful daughter and I live and work in Munich. Today it's about the Cookit, an ingenious food processor from Bosch, which will be available online in April 2023 with a second cooking pot and a high-quality knife set. Since I'm starting a new job in May, I'm bringing this podcast episode forward a few days because I want to concentrate fully on the new job in May. I've been using the Cookit from Bosch for almost 2 weeks and I'm absolutely thrilled because it has improved my cooking quality many times over and I'm confident enough to cook dishes that I wouldn't have dared to cook before, and as a result I eat healthier and more consciously, i.e. mindfully. How did I come to buy a food processor? Or to put it another way, what's my personal story behind it? My sister-in-law, my brother's wife, is the proud owner of a Thermomix, Vorwerk's competitor to Bosch's Cookit. This was the first time I came into contact with a food processor. And what can I say, the food processor fascinated me. On the other hand, I lost my apartment and a high-quality kitchen when I divorced my ex-wife. These two points led me to look into food processors like the Cookit and Thermomix in depth, because I wanted to use a high-quality cooking option in my rented apartment without having to install and buy an expensive kitchen. Apart from that, that wouldn't have been possible, because the rented apartment I live in is furnished. So, I decided to buy a food processor or kitchen aid. But first I clarified what was particularly important to me. What does a food processor have to be able to do and what is important? The food processor has to be easy to integrate into my daily routine of full-time job and daughter, it has to cook high-quality and above all healthy meals quickly and easily, it has to be easy to clean, it has to offer very good value for money and, above all, it has to be fun. Why did I choose the Cookit from Bosch? There are essentially 5 points that I would like to highlight here 1. Above all, the extensive accessories consisting of a 2nd cooking pot with a volume of 3 litres and the high-quality additional knife set - I wouldn't want to be without the 2nd cooking pot when cooking, e.g. for preparing and chopping salad, it is extremely quick and easy and an inspiring cookbook that inspires cooking including a QR code for the recipes 2. Total price of 1400 € compared to the Thermomix, if you include the accessories in monetary terms (2nd pot worth 259 € and the additional knife set (small and large knives) from Wüsthof - absolutely top class 3. Searing up to 200 degrees Celsius - this means I can also make popcorn for my daughter 4. App and voice control via Alexa, cell phone and tablet 5. The fact that I was able to easily order the Cookit from Bosch on the Internet by direct debit As always, you can find the show notes on JanReichenbach.de. You can also find the following table, which I will present shortly. What are the differences between Cookit and Thermomix?
