Jörg Dechert, who has a doctorate in physics, does not have a high opinion of Christians. He considers them unfit for life and weak. He sees their faith as a crutch that he himself does not need. But then, of all people, his then girlfriend and now wife announces that she has become a Christian. Jörg Dechert then half-heartedly confronts his own faith. As a trained physicist, he experiments with the concept of "God" and waits for an answer. At the time, he did not expect that this would turn his whole life upside down.
