Summary of works on the construction of the tram line in Petržalka for the last month (October - November 2024): TRACK TOP AND BOTTOM Finishing the rails in places where there was a pit until recently - connecting the old and new lines. The laying of rails on the bridge near the Parish Church of the Holy Mother of God and on Pajštúnská Street is being completed. Green stone is being laid on the entire line except for intersections and the turnoff. INTERSECTIONS AND CROSSINGS The newly built intersection Rusovská cesta - Jantárová cesta - Náměstie Hraničiarov is open to traffic, work continues on other branches. The CBGM structural layer has been laid on the sidewalks of the Jantárová - Nám. Hraničiarov intersection, asphalting is expected in the coming days. The Jantárová cesta - Lietavská intersection is operating in full profile. BRIDGE WORKS On the bridge near the Parish Church of the Holy Mother of God Rodina, the ledge on the eastern side has been completed, the other side will be completed soon. Concreting and formwork for pedestrian ramps on the Panónska Bridge are underway. ROADS AND SIDEWALK Asphalting of cycle paths from Bosáková to the combined bridge on Rusovská cesta. Completion of roadways on Pajštúnská and Romanová streets, including tram stops. Work on sidewalks at the intersection of Námestie Hraničiarov - Jantárová cesta - Rusovská cesta. PREPARATIONS FOR OPERATION Planned completion of all rails before Christmas, followed by trial operation of the tram. During the trial operation, shelters at stops, platforms, railings, sidewalks and cycle paths will be completed. The continuation of work is aimed at full operation of the line in spring 2025. FINANCING Signed contracts on a non-refundable financial contribution to finance the construction and modernization of the depot in Krasňany.
