View of the construction of the R2 expressway in the section Košice, Šaca - Košické Oľsany (2nd section) with a total length of 14,261 m. The expressway will bypass the city of Košice and divert transit traffic outside of Košice. The section of the R2 expressway under construction (in the landscape with R4) starts at the intersection Košice - Juh, where it connects to the already built expressway R4 Košice - Milhošť, and ends at the intersection Hrašovík, where it crosses the road I/19 and then connects to the D1 highway Budimír - Bidovce.
