Today we're going to analyze Conscript, a survival horror game set in World War I, one of the most terrifying conflicts and the one that caused the most deaths in its battles. We'll play a young French soldier who must search for his brother, also a soldier, while trying to survive the Battle of Verdun, one of the toughest battles of World War I. It's incredible how this game borrows many mechanics from Resident Evil to transmit a feeling of fear and oppression that can rival other Survival Horror games on the market.
