In 1937, here, in this place remote from civilization, under the leadership of Otto Schmidt and Ivan Papanin, the first ever drifting polar station was founded. In 2012, 75 years after Ivan Papanin's legendary expedition to the North Pole, a film crew goes to another drifting station, Barneo. The film "The Attraction of the 90th Latitude" tells what a modern drifting station is, how people survive and work on ice floes.
