The elections for the leadership of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, scheduled for February 3, are a mere formality. Among the 513 federal deputies, the current leader, Arthur Lira (AL-PP), built an alliance that includes the PT and the PL and has more than 480 votes for his nominee: the young Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB).
