The first Ukrainian speaker at the Conference on Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy of Trauma and PTSD was Oleg Chaban, a scientist, psychiatrist, head of the Department of Medical Psychology, Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the University named after O. Bogomolets. Oleg Sozontovych has been researching trauma for a long time and knows how psychedelics are used in its treatment, closely follows the development of scientific events around trauma and psychedelics, and collaborates with fellow scientists from those countries where research is possible. During his, perhaps too short, speech, he told what is happening with PJSC in Ukraine and the world and what needs to change. In short: as soon as possible, a Cabinet of Ministers resolution should transfer psychedelic compounds from the list of prohibited to the list of controlled ones. We at UPRA agree with this approach. We are planning a thorough meeting-lecture with Oleg Chaban - it will be interesting to psychotherapists and psychologists who work with PTSD and trauma. If you want to be the first to know about this and other meetings with psychiatrists and therapists who have expertise in PJSC, follow our news in the Telegram channel: https://t.me/upra_vulyk _________________ Our website: https://www.upra.org.ua/ Telegram: https://t.me/upra_vulyk Facebook: / upra.org.ua Instagram: / upra.org.ua TikTok: / upra.org.ua Twitter: / upra_org_ua
