Read more here: https://www.ogdoo.gr/erevna/rakosylle... The first presentation of the work "Sirens" with music by Yiannis Markopoulos and poetry by K.X. Myris (Kostas Georgousopoulos) in concert at the Herodos Atticus Conservatory , in the context of the Athens Festival, in July 1981. In the first part "Sirens" were presented and in the second emblematic songs from his earlier works Yannis Markopoulos. The first part was sung by Theodoros Vassilikos, Vassiliki Lavina and Ilias Klonaridis and in the second part Maria Dimitriadis, Eugenia Syrioti, Vassiliki Lavina, Ilias Klonaridis, Dimitris Kontogiannis, Yiannis Koutras, Kostas Thomaidis, Christos Karakostas and , in finale, Yiannis Markopoulos. Many of the musicians who played on the subsequent recording of the album also participated, such as Kostas Papadopoulos, Aristides Moschos, Philippos Tsberoulis, Haris Kaleas, Phaidon Lionoudakis, the Byzantine Choir of the Ministry of Finance under Theodoros Vassilikos and the Mixed Choir of ERT taught by Antonis Kontogeorgiou.
