Waste management is a problem that requires everyone's involvement to find solutions that minimize the impact on nature, especially in large urban centers, where garbage production is considerably higher. Much of the solid waste is still sent to landfills, which has a great potential to pollute the soil, water and air. One of the possibilities that is within everyone's reach is the separation of this waste into recyclable, organic and rejects. Recyclable material can be transformed into new products and organic material, through composting, can be transformed into fertilizer to help produce new foods. In this video we present some important tips for separating organic waste, a suggestion for setting up a home compost bin by reusing buckets and the use of worms to produce humus, which can be used to improve production in urban gardens. ....
