Complete itinerary for FORTALEZA: when to go, beaches, where to eat, what to do at night, PRICES. With day trips to Canoa Quebrada, Morro Branco in Beberibe and Cumbuco. Fortaleza is the largest city in Ceará in terms of population and the 5th largest in Brazil. Its coastline is 34 kilometers long, with a total of fifteen beaches. And there is no shortage of things to do in the city. The first day was a tour of the city, starting at Iracema Beach, going to the central region and ending at Praia do Futuro and with a luau in the same region. The second day of the trip to Fortaleza was a day trip to Canoa Quebrada. Since I didn't have much time in the place, I took the buggy ride that takes you to the main attractions, including the classic photo of the city's symbol, zip line, beach and lagoon. On the third day of the trip, I took a buggy ride that takes you to the main attractions, including the Morro Branco Cliffs, Gruta da Mãe d'Água, Fonte da Juventude and Lagoa do Uruaú. We had lunch at the Hotel das Falésias, where we spent the rest of the day, and to finish off, we had dinner in Fortaleza at the Vignoli restaurant. On the last day of the trip, we chose to spend the day in Cumbuco. In the morning, we stayed at Lagoa do Banana, which has excellent infrastructure, so you can even spend the whole day there. With a swimming pool, speedboat rides, jet skis and banana boats, the place has plenty of leisure options. Soon after, we went to Barra do Cauípe, which is a very deserted beach and right next to Lagoa do Cauípe, known for its strong kitesurfing due to the constant winds in the area.
