About :

Of the locomotive series 1200, a total of 25 units were made in 1951-1953. The locomotives were made at Werkspoor in Utrecht, but parts of the locomotives such as the bogies were manufactured in America. Of the locomotives that are left, a number are still in service with EETC, which can be seen in this compilation. The Railway Museum in Utrecht has the 1202 at its disposal. The 1252 was stripped of its old ACTS colour in 2014, and was then painted black on the occasion of 175 years of Railways.
