ROBBERIES WITH TUPEU In 2016, several groups of criminals from Ilfov County, almost all recidivists, committed a series of robberies whose common denominator was the toupeu: these robbers stole from homes with the victim in the house or stole from cars with the driver in car. Most of the time the victims were taken by surprise and simply froze, unable to react, but if they resisted, the robbers did not hesitate to use violence.
