"Excavated Japanese Archipelago 2020" is a nationwide traveling exhibition that introduces ruins that have been excavated in recent years and the most notable artifacts that have been unearthed there. This year, seven ruins have been selected and will be explained by researchers from the Agency for Cultural Affairs! This is the first in the series! 0:00 Introduction 2:39 Ishifuneto Ruins (Agano city, Niigata prefecture) 7:49 Yokaichi Regional Ruins (Komatsu city, Ishikawa prefecture) 11:10 Nisanzai Tomb (Sakai city, Osaka prefecture) 13:42 Denpo Tomb Group (Fuji city, Shizuoka prefecture) 16:21 Historic Site: Remains of Shokuraya, Tako county, Kozuke province (Takasaki city, Gunma prefecture) 18:19 Historic Site: Remains of Shojuji Hall (Nambu town, Aomori prefecture) 20:17 Atagoyama Ruins (Kyoto city, Kyoto prefecture) This traveling exhibition will be held at five venues: Edo-Tokyo Museum in Tokyo, Niigata Prefectural Museum of History, Fukushima Prefectural Museum, Ichinomiya City Museum and Nakatsu City Museum of History (please check the hosting museum's website for detailed dates and other information).
