The CNA Emilia-Romagna award reaches its sixth edition this year. The idea was born from the desire to focus attention on a personality or group that, operating in our region, has distinguished itself in a particular way for its civil and social commitment. This year's award winners were the ITALIAN NATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE of Emilia-Romagna and the ITALIAN PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE of Emilia-Romagna with great gratitude, for having held high the honor of Italy thanks to the extraordinary performances of their male and female athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The award artifact, like every year, was made by two CNA artisans: Sabina Zarotti, artist and teacher of Raku and Nerikomi ceramics – her laboratory is called La Bottega Dei Cuori and is in Quattro Castella, Reggio Emilia – and Davide Caprili, who has been practicing the profession of blacksmith in his Savignano for over twenty years. The award was collected by the presidents Andrea Dondi of CONI Emilia-Romagna and Melissa Milani, of the ITALIAN PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE Emilia-Romagna together with the athletes: Alessia Maurelli (rhythmic gymnastics team), Luca Rambaldi (rowing 4 pairs), Luigi Samele (men's individual sabre), Carlotta Ragazzini (WS3 table tennis), Eleonora Sarti (mixed team compound).
