“What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3) This is the question the disciples asked Jesus on the Mount of Olives. The answers to this are recorded in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Most of the things that will appear in the last days are disasters that will occur during the seven-year tribulation period. In addition, we are experiencing the fact that the appearance of false Christs and false prophets has already appeared in the church age. In addition, the various signs we are experiencing today, such as “wars and rumors, great earthquakes in various places, famines and pestilences,” can be understood as a preview of the signs that will appear in earnest. Applying the words of Luke 21:7-11, the disasters Jesus spoke of during the tribulation are wars (wars), earthquakes, famines, and pestilences. This is evidenced by Revelation 6:8. “To them (death and Hades) ... power was given to kill with sword (war) and famine (starvation) and death (pestilence) and with the beasts of the earth.” This is what happened three and a half years before the fourth seal was opened and appeared. The method of the beast that causes “death” could be a plague, a sword, or an earthquake. After the three and a half years of the previous era, when the beast fully seizes power and three years have passed, it uses the power it received to kill the saints. The Book of Revelation shows people (the saints) being killed with a sword (Rev. 9:15) and with fire, smoke, and brimstone (Rev. 9:18). We have not yet reached the seven-year tribulation. We are living in the church age. However, the signs that the Lord has given us in advance are overflowing in the church. The deception of false prophets spreading like an epidemic, the spiritual earthquake within the church splitting into sectarian conflicts, and the increasingly severe exhaustion (famine) of the Word make us realize that the time prophesied by the Lord is imminent. These more certain signs of the end are the appearance of false Christs and false teachers. “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4, Mark 13:5, Luke 21:8). It is shocking to hear how many people distort the Bible and deceive the saints with truly absurd logic. I believe that those who have ears to hear and the saints who are awake will discern this situation of the times.
